Sub: Cadre Restructuring – Firemen – KGP Workshop.

1. Reference your letter No.P/L/13/Mech./FM/WS-KGP, dated 21.11.1984 on the above subject.

2. In view of the circumstances explained in your letter quoted above and in the light of the discussion in the Departmental Council Meeting, the Railway Ministry approve of your proposal to upgrade the posts of Fireman ‘B’ in workshop, Kharagpur, SE Railway from scale Rs.260-350 to Rs.290-350.

3. There will be no change in regard to Firemen ‘C’ (i.e. 2^nd Firemen) scale Rs.210-270, if any, such posts are in operation in the KGP/Workshop.

4. These orders will take effect from 01.12.1984.
