Restructuring: RBE No.108/1987 – Malis Cadre

Sub: Restructuring of cadre of Malis.                                                     

1. In the meeting of the Departmental Council/ JCM, Railways, held on 31.12.1986, the Staff Side represented that on some of the Railways the category of Malis was not being covered by restructuring.

2. In this connection your attention is invited to items 13 and 14 of Annexure to Board’s letter No.PCIII/80/UPG/19, dated 29.07.1983 and further clarifications of the same number dated 28.03.1984 wherein it has been clarified that the benefit of restructuring orders will apply to all non-artisan Group ‘D’ posts including miscellaneous categories not specifically listed out in items 13 and 14 of the said annexure.   You may ensure that wherever omissions have taken place, action is initiated to rectify them and grant benefits to the staff.
