RBE No. 70/2008: Ration Money Allowance – RPF/RPSF in Vigilance

Sub: Grant of Ration Money Allowance and Ad-hoc Bonus instead of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) to RPF/RPSF staff working as investigating Inspectors in Vigilance Organization.
Ref: Board’s letter No.E(P&A)II/87/PLB-4, dated 21.09.1987 and dated 23.09.1987 (RBE No. 237/1987).
1. It has been brought to the notice of Railway Board that in spite of the instructions referred to above, almost all the railways are granting PLB instead of ad-hoc bonus to the RPF/RPSF personnel on deputation as investigating Inspector in Vigilance Organization.
2. The matter has been considered by the Board and it has been decided that RPF/RPSF personnel working as investigating Inspector on deputation basis in Vigilance Organization may be granted Ration Money Allowance and Ad-hoc bonus in lieu of PLB from the financial year 2008-09.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
