RBE No. 55/2005: Periodical Transfer

Sub: Periodical Transfer of Railway employees.

1. Reference to this Ministry’s letter No.E(NG)I/87/TR/34 NFIR(JCM/DC), dated 27.09.1989 (RBE No. 244/1989) enclosing a comprehensive list of sensitive posts for the purpose of periodical transfers. The categories of TIAs/ ISAs was subsequently included in the list of sensitive posts vide this Ministry’s letter of even number dated 02.05.1995 (RBE No. 40/1995).

2. The matter has been reviewed by the Ministry of Railways. It has been decided that since the nature of job offer Stock Verifiers in the Accounts Department is similar to that of Inspector of Stores Accounts (ISAs), the post of Stock Verifiers should also be included in the list of sensitive posts for the purpose of periodical transfers.
