Sub: Implementation of different orders of punishment of withholding of increments imposed one after the other.
1. It has been brought to the Board’s notice that in some individual cases of Railway servants they were not given their increments for prolonged periods because of different punishments of withholding of increments being imposed one after the other in succession.
2. The matter has been considered and to make the position clear it is pointed out that regulation of increments in such cases should be done as given in the illustration given below:-

Where a Railway servant who was drawing Rs.400 on 01.01.1985 in scale Rs.500-800 and punishments were imposed in 1985.
