Sub: Recruitment of sportspersons against sports quota – clarification regarding.
Ref: Board’s policy letter No.E(Sports)/2007/Policy/3, dated 30.03.2007 (RBE No. 48/2007).
Please refer to Board’s letter mentioned above containing instructions for recruitment of sportspersons on Indian Railways.
In this connection, it is clarified that the competent authority for recruitment of sportspersons in Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ against sports quota, shall be the same as mentioned in the Para 215 of Indian Railways Establishment Code, Volume-I.
