Sub: Corrigendum – Railway Services (Revised Pay) Pay Amendment Rules, 1997.
1. GSR 72(E) – In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following Amendments to the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1997, namely:-
2. The following text may be inserted after the text “New Delhi, the 5th February, 1998” of the Railway Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1997:-

3. The words “Cadre Strength” appearing in the first and second sentence of Second Sub-para of Para 5 in the English version of the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1997 may be replaced by the words “Officers on rolls”.
4. In the English version of explanatory memorandum to the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1997 the text “the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1998” may be replaced by the text “the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules, 1997.”
