Sub: Periodical Transfer of Railway employees – List of sensitive posts.
Ref: Railway Ministry’s letter Nos. (i) E(NG)I-87/TR/34 (JCM/DC), dated 27.09.1989 (RBE No. 244/1989), (ii) E(NG)I-94/TR/29, dated 02.05.1995 (RBE No. 40/1995), (iii) E(NG)I-2001/TR/22, dated 21.05.2002 (RBE No. 69/2002), (iv) E(NG)I-2002/TR/19, dated 13.09.2002 (RBE No. 163/2002), (v) E(NG)I-94/TR/29, dated 28.03.2005 (RBE No. 55/2005).

1. A comprehensive list of sensitive posts for the purpose of periodical transfer every four years has been circulated by Ministry of Railways under their letter No.E(NG)I-87/TR/34 (JCM/DC), dated 27.09.1989 (RBE No. 244/1989) as modified/ amplified from time to time vide letters referred to above.
2. Ministry of Railways have reviewed the list of sensitive posts identified and circulated for the purpose of periodical transfers. It has been decided to modify/ amplify the list of sensitive posts in Commercial, Medical and S&T Departments as per corrections in the Annexure to this Ministry’s letter dated 27.09.1989 as follows:

(6) Staff dealing with passing of medical reimbursement bills to non-railway hospitals.
