RBE No. 213/2019: Promotion – Channels of Promotion (AVC) – Medical Department

Sub: Revision of channels of Promotion (AVC) of non-gazetted staff of various categories – Medical Department – Corrigendum.

Reference Board’s letter of even number dated 22.10.2019 (RBE No. 178/2019) on the above subject enclosing copy of model AVC of certain categories of the Medical Department followed by letter of same number dated 18.11.2019 (RBE No. 198/2019), indicating correction in the Educational Qualification for the post of Radiographer as mentioned in the model AVC for Radiographer.
It is clarified that the educational qualification indicated in the letter dated 18.11.2019 (RBE No. 198/2019), ibid is for filling up the post of Radiographer in GP Rs.2800 (Level-5) against the 50% promotion quota.
The educational qualification for direct recruitment will be as per para 164(2) of IREM Volume-I, as reproduced below:-

“Qualification for direct recruitment is 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry with Diploma in Radiography/ X-Ray Technician/ Radio-diagnosis Technology (2 years course) from recognized Institute. Science Graduate with Diploma in Radiography/ X-Ray Technician/ Radio-diagnosis Technology (2 years course) will be preferred”.
