Sub: Standard forms to be used in disciplinary cases for appointment of Presenting Officer.

Attention is invited to Board’s Circular letter No.E(D&A)66 RG6-7, dated 05.09.1970, wherein a copy each of the standard forms for use in disciplinary cases at various stages of the proceeding was enclosed. The question of uses of word ‘appointment’ in place of ‘nomination’ in the order of appointment of Presenting Officer [Sub Rule 9(c) of Rule 9 of Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1968] has been examined and it has been decided that the word ‘nomination/ nominate(s)’ wherever appearing in the said form may be replaced by the word ‘appointment/ appoint(s)’ henceforth.
