RBE No. 165/2008: Honorarium – For Delivering Lectures

Sub: Payment of honorarium for delivering lectures in connection with training of Accounts Staff.

The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have reviewed the rates of honorarium for delivering lectures in connection with different purposes as laid down in Board’s letter No.E(G)97 HO 1-2, dated 18.06.1997 (RBE No. 88/1997) and have in supersession thereof decided that rates of honorarium may be revised as indicated below:-

(i)

For training to candidates appearing in Appendix-3 IREM examination.

Rs.225 per day subject to the duration of the lecture being not less than one hour.

(ii)

For training to candidates appearing in Appendix-2 IREM examination.

Rs.180 per day subject to the duration of the lecture being not less than one hour.

(iii)

Training of the directly recruited probationary Accounts Clerk Grade-I.

Rs.180 per day subject to the duration of the lecture being not less than two hours.

The above issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

These orders will have effect from the date of issue of the letter.
