Sub: Facilities to Indian Railways Power lifters on sports account.

It has been observed that Indian Railways Power lifters take part in certain championships viz. Bench Press Championship, Master Power lifting Championships, Veteran Championships etc., which are not recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board, and demanded for financial assistance, leave, passes etc.

It is therefore suggested that any facility like Special Casual Leave, Rail Journey Pass, financial assistance etc. should not be provided to the players on sports account for participation in Bench Press, Master Power lifting, Veteran and similar other Power lifting Championships, which are not recognized by RSPB.
