RBE No. 161/2007: Lecturers – Enhancement of Age of Superannuation

Sub: Enhancement in the age of superannuation from 62 to 65 years for the teaching positions in centrally funded institutions in higher and technical education.

Ref:  Board’s letter No.E(P&A)I/99/PS-5/PE-1, dated 21.12.1999 (RBE No. 307/1999).

1. The president is pleased to decide that the age of superannuation of Lecturers of Railway Degree College, Lalaguda, S.C. Railway be raised from 62 to 65 years.

2. This provision would come into force from the date of issue of this letter.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
