Sub: Norms for recruitment through sports quota in Cricket, by participation in Cooch Behar and Vinoo Mankad Junior Cricket Championships
Ref: Board’s letter No.E(Sports)/2006/Policy/1, dated 20.06.2006 (RBE No. 84/2006).
Please refer to Para 4.3(f) of Board’s letter No.E(Sports)/2006/Policy/1, dated 20.06.2006 (RBE No. 84/2006) . Board have decided to modify this para, and should be read as under, henceforth:

In Cricket (Men) Junior Category representation of a State or equivalent Unit, at least in the semi-finals of Cooch Behar (U-19) and Vinoo Mankad (U-19) Championships, shall also be considered for recruitment in Group-C. For recruitment in Group-D, representation of a State or equivalent Unit in these championships, shall also be considered. |
In Cricket (Men) Junior Category representation of a State or equivalent Unit, at least in the semi-finals of Cooch Behar (U-19) Elite Group Championship or Semi-finals of the All India Knock-out stage of Vinoo Mankad (U-19) Championship, shall also be considered for recruitment in Group-C. For recruitment in Group-D, representation of a State or equivalent Unit in Cooch Behar (U-19) Elite or Plate Group Championship or in the All India knock-out stage of Vinoo Mankad (U-19) Championship, shall also be considered. |
