Sub: Upgradation of pay scales of Assistants and Steno Grade ‘C’ (PA) of Railway Board Secretariat Service (RBSS) and Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service (RBSSS), respectively from Rs.5500-9000 to Rs.6500-10500.
1. Consequent upon the up-gradation of the scale of pay of the post of Assistants and Steno Grade ‘C’ (PA) of the Central Secretariat Service, the matter revision of the pay scale of the posts of Assistants in the Railway Board Secretariat Service (RBSS) and Steno Grade ‘C’ (PA) of the Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service (RBSSS) has been considered and it has been decided to revise the pay scale from Rs.5500-9000 to Rs.6500 10500.
2. This up-gradation has been done as an exception specific to Assistants of RBSS and Steno Grade ‘C’ of RBSSS only and will take effect from 15.09.2006.
3. Fixation of pay of the incumbents in the revised pay scale shall be regulated under the provisions of amended Rule 1313(1)(a)(2) and FR 1317 of Indian Railway Establishment Code, Volume-II (1987 Edition).
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways and has been the sanction of the President.
