RBE No. 154/2006: Gold plated Medals – Retiring Railway Servants

Sub: Presentation of Gold plated Medals to retiring Railway servants.

Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 20.03.2006 (RBE No. 31/2006).

1.     Clarification has been sought regarding specifications for the Gold plated silver medals to be presented to retiring railway servants, whether on superannuation or voluntarily.

2.     In continuation of the instructions issued vide Board’s letter under reference, following specifications may be followed in the matter by the Zonal Railways/ PUs.

(i)    Weight: 20 gms

(ii)    Silver of .999 purity

(iii)   Diameter of medal: 1-1/2 inches

(iv)   Two Aluminium pillars of height 1.5 inch and diameter .75 inch on both sides of medal.

3.     This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

4.     Please acknowledge receipt.

 (This disposes of Western Railway’s letter No.05/06/7012, dated 07.06.2006).

    But now no logo given by Railway as I retired from railway in 28 feb 2025 but only PPO and I card given by personnel Branch. no event done by Drm office.simply given in P branch by OS/P/N Rly FZR
