Sub: Amendment to the Indian Railway Establishment Manual (IREM), Volume-I.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that the Indian Railway Establishment Manual, Volume-I May be amended as per enclosed Advance Correction Slip No.233.

Please substitute designation “Senior Technician” in place of “Master Craftsman (Technician Master Craftsman)” shown in the Note below Para 159(5) of IREM, Volume-I.
