Sub: Engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentice Act.
Ref: Dy.CPO/ICF’s letter No.PB/RR/39/RDAT, dated 11.06.2008
1. In terms of Joint Survey conducted by RDAT/ Chennai at ICF/ Chennai, the seat allotment for this year (2008-09) for Act Apprentices has been revised from 572 to 727. Action should be initiated for training of Act Apprentices as per the revised quota.
2. Further ICF is requested to keep Board informed about the progress of appeal made before the National Council of Vocational Training. The details about seat utilization per quarter may also be furnished for Board’s perusal.
