RBE No. 12/2009: Minimum Rates of Wages

Sub: Revision of minimum rates of wages and Variable Dearness Allowance for employees employed in Loading and Unloading operations in ‘Railway’s Goods Sheds and in Ash pit Cleaning.

Further to this Ministry’s letter No.E(LL)2004/AT/MW/2, dated 20.08.2008 (RBE No. 99/2008), copy of Orders No.I/7(4)/2008-LS.II, dated 27.10.2008 received from Ministry of Labour & Employment revising the rates of variable dearness allowance for employees employed in Loading and Unloading Operations in Railway Goods Sheds w.e.f. 01.10.2008, is sent herewith for information, guidance and necessary action.

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
