Sub: Filling up the posts of Instructors in recognized Training Institutes – Uniform Guidelines – Amendment of Para 215 of IREM Vol-I.
Para 215 of Indian Railways Establishment Manual (IREM) Vol-I, 1989 (Reprint Edition – 2009) inter-alia provides for viva-voce in the Selection process for the post of Instructors in recognized Training Institutes.
Vide Board’s letter of even number dated 13.05.2019 (RBE No. 79/2019), uniform guidelines have been laid down for filling up the post of Instructors in recognized Training Institutes. It has inter-alia been provided that the Selection process shall consist of written test and class room trial. The provision of viva-voce has been done away with.
Para 215 of IREM Vol-I, which inter-alia provides for viva-voce in the selection process for the post of Instructors in recognized Training Institutes accordingly stands amended as per ACS No.265 enclosed herewith.
