Sub: Complementary Card Passes (CCPs) to Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awardees (TNNA Awardees).
Reference Board’s letter No.E(W)PS5-6/61, 23.02.2016 and subsequent clarification thereon regarding issue of CCPs to Arjuna Awardees.
The issue of grant of CCPs to TNNA awardees at par with Arjuna Awardees has been under consideration. It has now been decided by the Ministry of Railways to extend the facility of life-long free rail travel to the TNNA Awardees at par with entitlement to Arjuna Awardees.
These CCPs will be issued and renewed every two years, by railway Board on receipt of a formal application from the sportsperson concerned. TNNA Awardees shall be required to furnish attested copies of identity proof, residence proof and Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award certificate for issuance of CCPs.
This issue with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
