RBE No. 104/2012: Holiday Homes – Amendment to IREM – ACS No.11 to Rule 2224

Sub: Amendment of provisions relating to Holiday Homes – Chapter-XXII of Indian Railway Establishment Manual, Volume II, (Revised Edition 1990).
1. In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that Rule 2224 of Chapter-XXII (Section-C) of Indian Railway Establishment Manual, Volume-II be amended as per enclosed Advance Correction Slip No.11.
2. The new rates will be effective form 01.09.2012.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Para 2224(i): The Charges for occupation of the Holiday Homes (w.e.f. 01.09.2012) are as follows:-

Para 2224(ii): As far as possible, Group ‘D’ staff, both serving and retired, should be provided the lowest type of accommodation; where such accommodation is not available, they may be provided the next type of accommodation at charges applicable to the lower type of accommodation.
