Notification
New Delhi, the 16th October, 2014
G.S.R.220 – In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 37 of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961) the Central Government after Consulting of the Central Apprenticeship Council hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Apprentices Rules, 1992, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Apprenticeship (Third Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of November, 2014.
2. In the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 in Schedule-I under the heading ‘Group No.29 – Computer Trade Group’, Serial No.1 relating to the designated trade Data Preparation and Computer Software and the entries related thereto shall be omitted.
Note: The principal rules were published vide number G.S.R. 356, dated the 15th July, 1992 in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 1st August, 1992 and was last amended vide number G.S.R.158(F), dated the 4th March, 2014.
