Sub: Railway Services (Conduct) Rules, 1966 – Intimation retating to transaction of movable and immovable property by Railway officers on deputation – reg.

Ref:  This Ministry’s letter of even No. dated 11.10.2004.

1. Kindly refer to this Ministry’s letter of even No. dated 11.10.2004 regarding intimation of transaction of acquisition/ disposal of movable and immovable property by the officer, on deputation to various organization.

2. It was informed that the parent railway, where the officer holds lien, should deal with the matter as stated above.

3. It has been noted that officers on deputation & organization where officers are on deputation are sending intimation of transaction to this office.

4. It is, therefore, again intimated that the parent railway, where the officer holds lien, should deal with the matter referred to in para 1 above. The organizations (where officers are on deputation) are advised that intimation of transactions of any officer should be forwarded to lien holding railway of the officer.

5. Receipt of this letter may be acknowledged.
