Pre-selection Training – SC/ST candidates

Sub: On-line pre-selection training to SC/ST candidates for Selections held for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts.
Ref: Board’s letter No.E(GP)2010/2/39, dated 28.08.2019 (RBE No. 142/2019).
1. Recently, a reference has been received from one of the Zonal Railways for imparting online Pre-selection Training to reserved category candidates appearing in the Selections for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts in view of the Covid-19 pandemic where it is difficult to organize institutional trading while maintaining social distancing and other Covid-19 related measures. The matter has been examined in consultation with the Training and Reservation directorates and herein it is advised that the issue may be decided after consulting the Zonal Executive Committee of All India SC & ST Railway Employees’ Association (AISCSTREA).
2. Further, as has been mentioned in Board’s aforementioned letter, the course content, design and module of Pre-selection Training may be the decided by the PHOD of the concerned department.
