IREC Rule No.226: Transfers
226. Transfers:-
Ordinarily, a railway servant shall be employed throughout his service on the railway or railway establishment to which he is posted on first appointment and shall have no claim as of right for transfer to another railway or another establishment. In the exigencies of service, however, it shall be open to the President to transfer the railway servant to any other department or railway or railway establishment including a project in or out of India. In regard to Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ railway servants, the power of the President under this rule in respect of transfer, within India may be exercised by the General Manager or by a lower authority to whom the power may be re-delegated.
Railway Ministry’s Decision: Requests from railway servants in Groups ‘C’ & ‘D’ for transfer from one railway to another on grounds of special cases of hardships may be considered favorably by the railway administration. Such staff transferred at their request from one railway to another shall be placed below all existing confirmed and officiating staff in the relevant grade in the promotion group in the new establishment, irrespective of date of confirmation or length of officiating service of the transferred employees.

Can you pls clarify above rule with example? What if an employee selected as ECRC in recruitment grade of Rs 2800/- in the year 2000 wants transfer to another railway zone. what will be his grade pay after transfer if he is now in grade pay 4600/-. Thanking you in advance.

सर मेरा appointment helper पे हुआ था 25% कोटा के throw exam clear कर के मैं technition बना हूँ अब मैं own request transfer जाना चाहता हूँ तो मुझे ऐ जानकारी चाहिए कि मेरा transfer technition में bottom में होगा या helper में bottom पे ।

Mera selection group D se operating department main huaa tha fir graduate quota se exam deke mera selection gaurd main hua hai ab muze mutual tranfar se dusare zone main jana hai to mai mutual transfer direct gaurd bane person se kar sakta hoon ky uske niyam batane ki kripa kare
Seniority kya hogi meri jab mutual tranfer ane per mai jaha aya meri gp1900 hai aur uski gp2400 ho gayi lekin acording to date of appointment ke anusar mai senior hoon
मेरा स्वयं के निवेदन पर ट्रांसफर एक ज़ोन(2400/- GP से ) से दुसरे ज़ोन में हुआ (1900/-GP में ) जैसा कि नियम कहता है, इस समय छठवां वेतन आयोग चल रहा था। सातवाँ वेतन आयोग लागू होने पर मेरा फिक्सेशन 1900/-GP के आधार पर हो गया, अब सातवें वेतन आयोग में 2400/- GP का प्रमोशन दिया गया, इस समय इंक्रीमेंट नही दिया गया जैसा कि नियम है साथ मे 1900/- से 2400/- प्रमोशन होने पर 300/-(स्लेव में अन्तर) की वेतनमान में वृद्धि हुई।
प्रश्न – ट्रान्सफर आने पर काटे गए 500/- (GP- डिफरेंस) को यदि 6th pay कमीशन में प्रमोशन मिलता तो 500/- वापस जोड़े जाते , किन्तु प्रमोशन 7th pay कमीशन में हुआ तो 500/- की जगह 300/- ही दिया गया जबकि 6th pay से 7th pay कमीशन में बढ़ोत्तरी लगभग 3 गुने की हुई है। हाँ यदि इन्होने 7th pay के समय फिक्सेशन 2400/- के तहत करके फिर 1900/- में रखा होता तो 300/- ही घटते और पुनः प्रमोशन में 300/- ही मिल जाते। क्या इस प्रकार 500/- का लाभ 300/- के रूप में मिलना सही है। कृपया इसे ध्यान से पढ़े और उचित सलाह दे। यदि कोई नियम लागू हो तो उसे भी वर्णित करे।

एक ही ग्रेड के अलग-अलग कैटेगरी के अलग-अलग जॉन के रेलवे स्टाफ के मैचुअल ट्रांसफर हो सकता है कि नहीं
Is there any rule for prefrence of railway employees in spouse ground tranfer
पारस्परिक स्थानांतरण आवेदन जमा करने से पहले दोनों कर्मचारियों की पदोन्नति ग्रेड पे 1900 से ग्रेड 2400 मे हो जाती है तो ग्रेड पे 2400 मे पदोन्नति का लाभ मिलता है या नहीं

Can you tell me pls… In 2014, I have joined group 4 staff in engineering department, in 2020 I have passed departmental steno exam, now I am steno since 17.11.2020, now I m in Trichy, Southern Railway, Shall I eligible for apply oneway transfer to Salem division, because my probationary period of stenographer will complete on 16.11.2021… kindly clarify my doubt pleas

if any division give a noc for combined 74 employees…and any one out of them went transfer within six months……then after six months it will be happen that for other employee’s spare? or can other employees spare by that noc?please reply me as soon as possible….help us
