108.  Classification Of Services / Posts:-

Establishments and categories (including probationers) falling under the services mentioned in Rule-106 are shown below;

Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME)
Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE)
Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE)
Indian Railway Medical Services (IRMS)
Indian Railway Stores Services (IRSS)
Indian Railway Personnel Services (IRPS)
Such posts in general Administration and Miscellaneous Departments (e.g. Chemical & Metallurgical Department, Cash & Pay Department.)

Note: Temporary Assistant Officers will not be classified either as Group ‘A’ or Group ‘B’.

    workshop staff excluding skilled means no artizan staff will come under otherwise to say no one is classified as workshop staff. Those employees who are governed by Factories Act including skilled are called workshop staff
