Sub: Punctuality in Government Offices – Grant of Half-a-day’s Casual Leave.

1. Reference Railway Ministry’s letter No.E(G)65 LE2-29, dated 06.11.1965 on the subject noted subject.

2.     It has been brought to the notice of the Ministry of Railways that some Railway School/ College teachers are not being granted half-a-day’s Casual Leave as allowed to other railway employees. The matter has, therefore, been considered in consultation with the Department of Personnel and Training and it is clarified that the instructions referred to above are applicable to all the employees including teachers in Railway Schools Colleges.
