RBE No. 23/2006: RDSO – Upgradation of Posts – Group ‘B’

Sub: Upgradation of 80% of posts of Group-B in RDSO from scale of pay Rs.7500-12000 to 8000-13500.

1. In view of RDSO attaining the status of a Zonal Railway w.e.f. 01.01.2003 and subsequent grant of pay scale of Rs.7500-1200 to Group ‘B’ officers of RDSO on regular basis w.e.f. 01.01.2003, it has been decided that the 80:20 scheme notified for Group ‘B’ officers of all organized services other than Accounts Department of the Zonal Railways vide Notification with GSR No.357(E), dated 25.04.2003 circulated vide Board’s letter No.PC-V/97/I/EC/1, dated 30.04.2003 (RBE No. 72/2003) would apply mutatis-mutandis to RDSO also.
2. The Scheme would apply to Group ‘B’ officers of organized services in RDSO and would be subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition No.3866/98 pending before the honorable High Court of Delhi.
