RBE No. 31/2008: Retention of Railway accommodation – Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla project

Sub: Retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers/ staff posted to Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla New Line Construction Project.

4. Retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers/ staff posted to Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla New Line Construction Project was permitted up to the target date of completion of the project i.e 15.08.2007, vide Board’s letter No.E(G)2001 QR1-14, dated 12.07.2004 (RBE No. 150/2004).
5. As the said project could not be completed by August, 2007 due to technical reasons, Railway Bored has decided that officers/ staff posted to Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla New Line Construction Project will be entitled to retention of Railway accommodation at previous place of posting for a further period of 2 years i.e. upto 14.08.2009.
