Selection: Group ‘B’ – Diversion of JTS vacancies

Sub:  Diversion of JTS vacancies.

Ref:  Board’s letter nos.E(GP)2005/2/61, dated 12.10.2015 (RBE No.124/2015).

1. Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 12.10.2015 (RBE No.124/2015) earmarking department-wise Junior Scale/ Group ‘A’ posts on each Railway and Production Unit.

2. Now, in view of the Junior Scale/ Group ‘A’ vacancies prevailing over various Railways and Production Units, Board has decided that a maximum of 25% of these vacancies may be included in the vacancies assessed for Group ‘B’ selections, if these are considered crucial to managing of services by the General Manager. With this, the onetime dispensation earlier given to the Production Units vide Board’s letter of even number dated 02.08.2016 for filing up the Jr. Scale/ Group ‘A’ vacancies through Group ‘B’ selections stands withdrawn.
