Restructuring: RBE No.224/1987 – Trolleymen

Sub: Cadre review and restructuring of Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ cadres.

1.     The Staff Side had raised an issue in the Departmental Council of Joint Consultative Machinery that Trolleymen working in Departments other than Permanent Way Side of Civil Engg. Department like Trolleymen attached to Signal Inspector/ Bridge Inspectors etc. should also be covered by Item (1) of Annexure to Board’s letter No.PCIII/80/UPG/19, dated 29.07.1983. It is hereby clarified that these Trolleymen may also be covered by Item No.1 of Annexure to this Ministry’s letter No.PCIII/80/UPG/19, dated 29.07.1983 which is presently applicable to Trolleymen in Permanent Way Branch of Civil Engg. Department only.

2.     Other detailed instructions as contained in this Ministry’s letter of 29.07.1983 will equally apply in this case.
