IREC Rule No.227: Conditions Of Transfer
227. Conditions Of Transfer:-
A competent authority may transfer a Railway servant from one post to another provided that, except;
(1) On account of inefficiency or misbehavior, or
(2) On his written request,
A Railway servant shall not be transferred to, or except in a case or dual charge, appointed to officiate in a post carrying less pay than the pay of the post on which he holds a lien.

Sir, Right now i am changing cadre from steno grade pay-2400 basic pay 32300 to artisan staff 1900. But can you please advise me what will be my salary after cadre change in lower post.

सर जी, मै हेल्पर पद में समान पद वाले मुझसे एक महीना जूनियर कर्मचारी से जो मुझसे अलग कैटेगरी और अलग ही विभाग में पदस्थ था, उससे पारस्परिक स्थानांतरण करवाया था तो अब मै जानना चाहता हूँ कि मेरी सीनियरिटी मेरे म्युचल पार्टनर वाली रहेगी या उस विभाग में रेलवे में हमसे बाद में पदस्थ या हमारे म्युचल पार्टनर की प्रथम पोस्टिंग के बाद आने वाले ऑन रिक्वेस्ट ट्रांसफर करवाये कर्मचारियों से बॉटम में रहेगी..?
