RBE No. 87/2019: Revised Designation – Level-1 – Personnel Department

Sub: Revised designation to be used for categories in Level-1 of Personnel Department – clarification reg.
Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 27.12.2018 (RBE No. 201/2018).

Clarifications have been sought regarding revised designation of categories in Level-1 of Personnel Department in terms of Board’s letter No.PC-VI/2009/I/1/3(Vol.II), dated 27.12.2018 (RBE No.201/2018).
2. Attention is drawn towards Paragraph 4 of RBE No. 201/2018 wherein Railways were advised that they may use the nearest appropriate revised designation to include the left-over category/ categories, if any, under intimation to Board’s office.
3. Keeping in view above position and to maintain a uniformity across different Railways, the matter has been considered in Board’s office and it has been decided that the revised designation of Office Asstt./ Personnel may be used for the categories in Level-1 (erstwhile Group ‘D’) of Personnel Department in all Indian Railways/ PSU etc.
