Sub: Amendment to IREM – Chapter-II, Section-B – Rules governing promotion of Group ‘C’ staff.
The Ministry of Railways have decided that the Indian Railway Establishment Manual, Volume-I, 1989 may be amended as in the Advance Correction Slip No.73 enclosed.

Chapter-II, Section-B – Rules governing promotion of Group ‘C’ staff:-
In para 218(c) as modified vide Advanced Correction Slip No. 39, for the existing scale of pay “Rs.1600-2860/ 5000-8000 (RSRP)” substitute the scale of pay “Rs.5500-9000 (RSRP)”.
