RBE No. 30/2010: MACPS – Financial Up-gradation – Stenographers

Sub: Grant of financial up-gradation under the Modified ACP Scheme – reckoning of Non-Functional Grade (NFG) to DR Assistants/ DR Grade ‘C’ Stenographers – clarification regarding.
1. Instructions on the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme for Railway servants were issued vide Board’s letter of even number dated 10.06.2009 (RBE No. 101/2009). Further, as par a clarification received from the Department of Personnel & Training, in terms of para 8.1 of the Board’s letter dated 10.06.2009 ibid, DR Assistants/ DR Grade ‘C’ Stenographers who have got Non-Functional Grade (NFG) in the Grade Pay of Rs.5400 would only be entitled to 3rd financial up-gradation in the immediate grade pay of Rs.6600 on completion of 30 years of continuous service. No further financial up-gradation would be admissible to such officials.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways and has the sanction of the President.
