RBE No. 15/2014: Training – Indian Railway Accounts Service – IRAS – Probationers

Sub: Training, Seniority and Confirmation of Indian Railway Accounts Service Probationers – Corrigendum.

Board have reviewed the instructions on training and confirmation of Probationers of Indian Railway Account Service (IRAS) circulated vide circular no.E(Trg)92(20)/2-IRAS, dated 05.11.1996 and have decided to modify para 3 and para 10 thereof as under:-
Para 3:
“The total period of probation period would be of two years, out of which one and half years would be probation on Training and 6 months Probation against working post.”

Para 10:
“For a probationer to be confirmed in Junior Scale he/ she should have successfully passed all the examinations prescribed after completion of institutional training as well as posting examination and confirmation test at the end of probation against working post. This would become effective from the date of Board’s circular no.2009/E(Trg)/13/3, dated 30.08.2013.”
