D&A Rule No.1: Short Title And Commencement

The Railway servants (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1968 are made by the President Of India in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution.

1.    Short Title And Commencement:-

(1) These rules may be called The Railway servants (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1968.

(2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 1968.
