Sub: Disciplinary action against Railway Servants.

It has been represented to the Board that in cases where, after considering the reply of the charge sheet, it is decided not to take any further action, the decision should be communicated to the Railway servant concerned to relieve his suspense. The Board have considered the matter and have decided that in such cases, the competent authority’s decision not to take any further action should be invariably communicated to the Railway servant within 2 months of the date it is taken.
