Sub: Merger of 50% of Dearness Allowance with basic pay – Revision of pay range slab for the purpose of Composite Hill Compensatory Allowance.

1. Pursuant to merger of 50% of Dearness Allowance with Basic Pay, it has been decided, in consultation with Ministry of Finance, to revise the existing pay range for determining the eligibility for Composite Hill Compensatory Allowance w.e.f. 01.04.2004 as follows:
