IREC Rule No.2022: Counting Of Past Service In A Local Fund (FR-130)

2022. Counting Of Past Service In A Local Fund (FR-130):-

Persons transferred to railway service from a local Fund which is not administered by Government will be treated as joining a first post under Government and their previous service will not count as duty performed. A competent authority may, however, allow previous service in such cases to count as duty performed on such terms as it thinks fit.

Recently Board have decided to replace the one of the Paras of MACP instructions in regard to MACP extended in the hierarchy of GPs than normal promotional GPs to provide option facility to draw difference of GP either at the time of promotion or after drawal of normal increments in the case who already got MACP in GPs but in normal promotion in higher GP.
My doubt is whether this can be extended to past cases also or not. If so, now we have to seek option from the eligible employee to extend.
