Passes: RBE No.47/2012 – Revised Pay Limits for Entitlement
No.E(W)2000/PS5-1/10, dated 02.04.2012
Sub: Revised pay limits for entitlement of Passes/ PTOs – reckoning of running allowance in case of running staff.
1. Instructions were issued vide Board’s letter No.E(W)2008/PS5-1/38, dated 06.01.2011 (RBE No.03/2011) linking revised entitlement of Passes/ PTOs for Grade Pay.
2. The issue of reckoning of running allowance for the purpose of revised entitlement of Passes/ PTOs was under consideration in Board’s office. After detailed examination, Board have decided to allot equivalent grade pay to ruining staff for the purpose of entitlement of Passes/ PTOs, as in Annexure.
3. The ultimate Pass entitlement will be as per Board’s letter No.E(W)2008/PS5-1/38, dated 06.01.2011 (RBE No.03/2011).
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
5. Receipt of the letter may be acknowledged.
