Sub: Issue of Card Passes to Freedom Fighters.

Ref: Ministry of Railways’ letter of even No. dated 17.10.1986 (RBE No.202/1986).

In continuation of Ministry of Railways’ letter of even No. dated 22.01.1987 (RBE No.09/1987), it is reiterated that free Complimentary Card Passes are to be issued only to those Freedom Fighters who are receiving pension from Central Revenues. The same may not, therefore, be issued to Freedom Fighters who have been given ‘Tamra Patras’ and who are not receiving pension from the Central Revenues due to their stature in public life.

These instructions may be strictly followed.
