Sub: Implementation of recommendations of High Level Committee on Disaster Management.
High Level Committee on Disaster Management has inter-alia recommended periodic training on Disaster Management for railway staff. A list of courses on Disaster Management organized at various stages for different categories of staff as per currently approved modules is enclosed.
Railways may ensure that these courses are conducted regularly and may make efforts to continuously upgrade the training content, lessons of these courses to make it more meaningful and practical and also share the same with other railways. The modification made may also be informed to Board.
Officers may be nominated to ensure that these courses are conducted to the desired expectation.
